Where to hide?
it's been a weeks since the boys and I have seen Demon, the messenger for the master, who also we haven't heard from in quite a long time. I look over to torch who's sitting across from me at the booth of the diner we were at, he had his head in both his hands and his hair had start to smoke... "OW!" He hollered as he quickly patted out his smoldering hair. He must've been thinking bout Forest again. he's been missing for almost a week and now and we've no idea what or where he is.
I'm afraid of the creature demon, i say creature cause he looks niether human or machine, would be looking for us. though we havent seen any sign of him since the warehouse, we havent been easy sleeping. None of us could think of how to explain we left our prisoner to be eaten by a giant bat-man. Then on top of it all Forest disappeared the after we ran from the attack on the two new mutants we found, me and torch woke one morning to find his place empty... all his things there just not him.
"Well boulder, we need to get moving.. WE needn't be stayin in one place too long." Torch sighed as he stood up and started to walk to the door.
"HEY! you need to pay your BILL!!!" Said a manager running up.
With a speed of a wildcat, Torch spun around face to face with the man." How much do i owe?" He asked lighting up a fireball with a wicked smile.
"ummm...... i'll just put it down as a no show..." The manager manged to spill out, never taking his eye's off the ball of fire moving ontop of Torches opened palm.
"Thought you'd see it my way!!" Torched smarted back to the man slowly letting the fireball disapate.
"I dont see why you must terrorize everyone." I sighed as he walked out the door.
" shush it up rock for brains" Torch shot back.
" I'd watch it hot head, we'll see who wins stone or fire." I said heated.
As i Powered up to my massive size, torch lit up a few fire balls and we prepared to fight. I could see out of the corner of my eye the entire dinner start to hide under tables and protect themselves. I was focused on torch I was waiting for him to make the first move, I was so focused i never felt the ground shift till Gaint roots sprouted from the ground and wrapped around me and Torch. Neither of us could free ourselves, though we both stopped struggling once it dawned on us what they were.
"well well well, I leave you two alone for just a few days and your already at each other," Forest laughed as he walked from behind a tree.
"And where the hell have you been?" Torch asked heating up again.
"Following those Mutants that we were trying to capture. they've teamed up with That popsicle that Demon wanted, plus batty's with them, and put two and two together and you'll see that we still have a way to get in our lords good graces." Forest snapped back.
"I see hahaha" I laughed as i realized Forest's plan.
"Before i lost them, i heard them talking of a lab at ole batty's house, i think we should look for them there." Forest said releasing me and Torch.
"Well lets get there before they can get away.!!" Said Torch dusting the dirt off of himself.
"Here i took this, it's better than walking or buses," Forest said pointing to a 78 Covette.
My mouth dropped as i looked at the beautiful piece of creation. "Now you know how to ride in STYLE!!" I drooled out.
"Well shut off that firehose and lets get moving," Forest laughed at me, as i whipped my mouth with my tattered shirt, and climbed in.
We left the parking lot of that small dinner going 60 mph in no time flat.
