The messenger

The nightmares were terrizing me, left and right i saw my friends and family dying, i screamed out for master to help me, more and more i screamed. Then as quickly as they came, the vanished like a calm surf after a storm. Thank you master, i said in my dream.

"Boulder wake up!! Boulder get up" The voices were bringing me outta my dreams.

it was Torch, when i opened my eyes he was there standing over top of me. As a sat up and looked around, the was Forest leaning against a wall, and that's when i noticed that we were no longer in the forest, we were in some type of warehouse.

"Do either of you two know where and how we got here?" I asked torch and Forest.

"nope" Replied Torch and Forest just shook his head.

Just as i was about to ask another question a black hole appeared and ou t walked a shadow as the portal closed the shadow spead it metalic wings and the shadow disappeared.

"Who are you?" I Asked jumping to my feet.

"Where are we?" Torch asked.

"I am the messenger for the lord, also known as your master. My name is Demon! As for where you are, your in an abandon mill just outside the woods you were defeated in. The Lord has given you idiots another chance to redeem your defeat." Demon stated, as his metal wings shinned in the light.

"What is this chance?" Torch asked.

"You are to go back and Capture the mutant named Polar, and Bring him back to the Lord. The Lord has special plans for this mutant, Do not screw this one up." Demon answered, "Now get moving he'll be stopping soon, and you'll find him in a cave."

After finish he instructions another portal opens behind him and and turns and walks right into it. Torch, Forest, and me were just standing there dumbfounded. as i gathered my thought's i started looking for a door out of the place, but no matter where i looked there was no doors. Torch and Forest must have already figured that out because they were now looking at me. With silent acknowlegdement i turned to my stone form and created us a door...

"Lets go," i gestured towards Torch and Forest. I had to not fail this mission, i can't handle havind the nightmares back....

The Ambush

I watched the two men as they walked through the forest, unobserved to me and my friends following them. Everything was doing good, until the wind changed, i felt it on my back now blowing right at the men. I thought nothing of it until i saw the one with white hair start looking around, then i noticed he'd seen us, though why he didnt make an alarm im not quite sure. we just kept following them. my friends and I, Torch and Forest, just as Master had commanded us. Soon the one that had saw us started to use more and more caution, he started to track us wit his eyes. I heard Torch whispering to Forest, as i listened hard i heard,

"Forest make us a clearing up ahead, but make sure the tree's block any escape except through us." Torch said.

Forest just nodded. The whole time i've been with this group, and master's taken me in, ive always have seen Torch lead, and as for Forest he has said maybe Two or Three phrases, all the many years i've known these two. I remember when i was first put with them, Torch made me do all the hard work, and forest always stayed what seemed a trance, always quiet. After the first couple months of stupid things here and there, Master sent us out into this forest, He said, "Anyone who shall come through these woods take everything from them, If they give trouble, GET RID OF THEM." Well i didnt like the thought of killing anyone, but i had to obey master, he took me in and gave me reason.

"Boulder, You ready?" Torch asked, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"yea" I replied.

I watched the white haired man watching me as i sat there, like he could see the very beads of sweat on my face. As the man turned his head to say something to the other man, who was wierdly in a big red suit of armor, we made our move. moving quietly and quickly we moved in front of them. We emerged out of the forest right in front of them. I saw the white hair man looking for us in the woods and finally spot us as he turned back to the front.

"Give up everything you have, and we may let you live" Torch hollered out to them.

"Do You know who i am?" The man in the Suit of armor yelled back.

Now it was my turn, "We dont care who you are, either do as we say or we'll just have to take it." I hollered.

"IM THE UNSTOPPABLE JUGGERNAUT!! and i dont take orders from runts like you!." Juggernaut yelled.

"fine we do this the fun way then." Torch replied with a grin.

I heard him whisper under his breath, "let's see how they like it when they're bar-B-Q." After the words left his mouth he lit up a a fireball, thanks to his mutant abilities, and threw it at Juggernaut. What shocked me was The man didnt move, he just stood there, as the ball hit him nothing happened it just disappeared. "My turn!" the man yelled as he picks up a small boulder and throws it at Torch... That was easy to deal with, i just changed into my stone form and due to my healing factor i just absorbed it.

"As you can see your powers are useless, so i give you the chance once more to give up and live." Torch repeated.

"your gonna be the ones that will be beggin for mercy when i'm finished with ya," Juggernaut shot back.

"have it your way then!" Torch laughed as he threw two more fireballs at the two men.

I watched the white haired man barely dodge it, but Juggernaut wasnt affected and started running towards Torch pulling back an armored arm. I couldn't let him make contact, it'll kill Torch. So I used my mutant ability and shapeshifted into my stone form, and stepped in front of torch as the Armored man reached us, i caught his punch with my left arm. As his fist punch met my hand i felt excruciating pain in my whole left arm, as i looked down my whole arm was gone.... so much pain, and even more painfully i used my good right arm to knock him away from me. as the world started spinning i spotted a boulder not far away, so i wobbled over and obsorbing it i let my healing factor do is work, as the pain slowly fades i watch as my arm reforms.

Still recovering from the pain i saw the white haired man just standing there. Well an eye for an eye. I start racing towards the man pullin back a stoned arm, each step thundering. He dodges my punch quickly, inhumanly quickly. i couldn't believe it, this man was a mutant, that's how he tracked us before. I should've know they're both mutants....

"Polar Fight Back!!" yelled Juggernaut gettin up.

I've got to keep the mutants down, I turn and start to race towards Polar once again arm pulled back. This time i was sure he couldnt dodge it, but i was wrong. As i punched he stepped aside and grabbed my huge arm, and confirming my thoughts threw me at Torch. I flew threw the air and landed on the unexpecting Torch. as i rolled off and started to get to my feet and pull Torch up, that's when i saw Forest doing his stuff, i started to chuckle. Wait till they get a taste of him.. not even Torch would go head on with Forest.HA, I watched as two great roots emerged out of the ground and start wrapping around the one called Juggernaut. Soon they'll crush the breath out of him....but wait they are having no affect on the armor..well we should still be able to suffacate him. while watching this, i noticed two small vines slither through my feet towards the one known as Polar, and start wrapping it's way up, until finally i could see no part of either of the two.

"Ha, stupid guys, they should've just did as we said." Torch laughed.

"They were mutants like us Torch, something doesn't feel right.." I told him.

"You going soft on us Boulder? and so wat if they were mutants, we gave them a choice and they devided." Torch answered back.

"But i dont see mutants...." My words were interupted by the sound of shattering ice. I spun around to see where and came from and was amazed, The one called Polar had frozen the vines and broke them. He dropped to his knees, the vines must've done a real number on him.

"Persistent little brat, isnt he? well lets see how he likes these." Torch muttered to himself as he lit up two more flames.

Torch sent both fireballs flying right at Polar, even though i thought he was done for, he shocked me even more, by still yet dodging both of them. Then he did something that set off a warning, he looked at the other Roots covering the other mutant and started to move towards it.

"dont let him free that other guy!" Torch said to me and Forest as he lit another fireball and tossed it.

I started running towards the mutant Polar, knowing if he freed the other one we'd be back to the beginning again. i felt two vines pass by me as i ran on, Forest is gonna try that again? well gues it's his only way right now, i didnt look back but i knew Forest eyes and arms were really bright green now. Though something i did see was Polar freeze the vines and dodge the fireball, lucky for me though he was too hurt to do much and he wouldnt be able to dodge This! As i reached him i flung out a punch, but instead of trying to dodge it, he grabbed my arm and putting his strength into it slowed it down. Not enough though, my force sent him flying, that's when i noticed my mistake, he wasnt trying to stop my attack he was using it. I start runnning again as fast as my huge form would allow, i couldn't of, i knocked him right in the direction of his friend an he was now layin two feet away.

All i remember next i focusing on Polar tryin to get to him, raising my arm back and hearing ice break. Next thing i know a big red suit of armor is in front of me and something hit's me like a frieght train, i'm flying through the air, everything is black. that's when my nightmares came.....
